I would love to help you with your horse.

As an animal physiotherapist, I am a member of IETA and RAMP and fully insured. I work mainly hands-on and use a few machines if needed to achieve the best treatment for your horse.

Equine Touch

The Equine Touch is a non-diagnostic, non-invasive Equine Bodywork system which is an holistic soft tissue address, effecting mostly connective tissue – muscles and tendons, joint capsules and ligaments using a very specific move.

Photo Light Therapy

Red light and Blue light phototherapy is used for • Improving circulation. • Reducing inflammation and pain. • Accelerating the body`s own natural wound healing process. • Used over acupuncture/trigger points. When the photons bounce off the tissue (skin) the energy is absorbed into the tissue. This then warms the soft tissues.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy

PEMF has a stimulating effect on the tissues by exciting the molecules in the tissues. This then increases the body’s own natural healing effect. • Being that it is easy to use and there is no mess by using conductive gel it will be used as one of the main machines in a physiotherapists work load. • As animals can not feel the immediate effect they are happy to have this form of treatment it also has a calming effect on them. • It is used to treat non-union fractures • Used in reducing chronic inflammation. • Helps with reducing inflammation. • Increases fresh blood and nutrients.

Massage

Fascial Edge Tool, this will help with the massage part of your horses treatments (making it easier on my hands). Massage has great benefits for your horse not only can it promote relaxation and well-being but in turn it can Increase and improve circulation Enhance muscle tone Relax muscle spasm Prevent and relieve adhesions Increase the range of movement.

Electrostimulation

Helps with repair to tissues by increasing fresh blood and nutrients to the area. In helping the muscles to their full ability they are helping with mobilization of the joints. • Helps with acute and chronic pain • Helps with muscle atrophy by increasing muscle strength. • Treats various orthopedic and neurological diseases

LAW Bitting Solutions

Bitting Consultation

A Bitting consultation can take place at yours if you have facilities.

The area I cover is anywhere within 1.5 hours from Hartley Wintney (RG27 8 )

The bits I have in stock are Informed Designs, Shires, Premier Equine, Happy Mouth, Bespoke bits form Abbey Bits and a few preloved ones.

The snaffles range from £45 to £95 and the training/jumping/Weymouths are £55 to £120. I also work with Myler bits and Bomber bits.

All the bits I work with are designed to improve comfort, welfare and performance.

A session can take up to an hour per horse. We look at the horse on the ground checking conformation and how the bridle fits, we check your current bit collection. We then see the horse ridden in its original bit then discuss what is happening and make any changes that are best for you and the horse.

Bridle/Tack Check

The area I cover is anywhere within 1.5 hours from Hartley Wintney (RG27 8 )

Checking your bridle is fitted correctly, working with your horse to find the optimum fit. I carry various bridles from Shires, Ecorider and Premier Equine. I carry most sizes so we can build a bridle that works for your horse. This is part of a bitting consulatition or stand alone Bridle fit is £60.

Saddle Fit

Saddle fit is £60 including static fit and ridden assessment.

The area I cover is anywhere within 1 hour from Hartley Wintney (RG27 8 )

Flocking, any adjustments and gullet plates are extra.

I unfortunatly don't carry saddles but will advise if current saddle is no longer the best fit.
